Job summary

Macquarie Group's Digital team in Hyderabad invites an experienced Business Analyst to gather requirements, map processes, and translate needs into clear deliverables that drive efficiency and risk reduction.

You will work with stakeholders across real assets and real estate, leveraging Jira, Confluence, SQL and Power BI to enable data-driven decisions and measurable business outcomes in a global financial services context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into deliverables and support UAT.
• Strong experience in Agile environments with user stories, mapping, gap analysis.

Responsibilities

What role will you play?

In this role, you will gather and interpret requirements, analyse business processes, and identify key opportunities and risks to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and deliver measurable business outcomes by leveraging modern technology to develop solutions. This position offers the chance to drive impactful change and contribute to transforming how the organisation operates.

What you offer

• 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, with Private Markets experience highly regarded.
• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into clear deliverables, supporting solution design and user acceptance testing.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments, including user stories, process mapping, gap analysis, and as-is/to-be state definition, with proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and non-technical audiences in global teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in financial data analysis; exposure to SQL, Power BI, and financial concepts is advantageous.
