Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Service Delivery Manager (Internal Communications Manager) within the Industry Solutions Group in Chennai to lead end-to-end communications, advising senior leaders, and aligning with business priorities.

This hybrid role requires partnering with HR and cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives, support executive thought leadership, and strengthen Cognizant's culture and brand presence, with 3-4 days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism, Creative Writing, English Language, Communications, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, or related communication functions.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and provide strategic communications counsel within a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, collaboration, project management, and organizational skills.
• Experience communicating effectively with geographically dispersed employee populations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and independently drive initiatives from concept through execution.

About The Role

As a Service Delivery Manager (Internal Communications Manager) within the Industry Solutions Group (ISG), you will lead end-to-end communications for the service line, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders. You will drive communication strategies that align with business priorities, enhance employee engagement, support executive thought leadership and service line PR efforts, and strengthen Cognizant's culture and brand presence. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to develop impactful communications that connect employees with business goals while fostering engagement and organizational visibility.

In This Role, You Will

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.HTML knowledge and experience with digital communications tools.
