You will develop strategies, craft business and culture narratives, and amplify leadership communications while collaborating with HR and cross-functional partners. This hybrid Chennai role supports executive visibility and digital outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, writing, English, communications, or related field.
• 12+ years of corporate/internal communications experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop communication strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders in a global matrixed organization.
• Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Service Delivery Manager (Internal Communications Manager) within the Industry Solutions Group (ISG), you will lead end-to-end communications for the service line, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders. You will drive communication strategies that align with business priorities, enhance employee engagement, support executive thought leadership and service line PR efforts, and strengthen Cognizant's culture and brand presence.

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to develop impactful communications that connect employees with business goals while fostering engagement and organizational visibility.

In This Role, You Will

• Develop and execute annual and quarterly communication strategies aligned to business priorities and measure their effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders, HR, and cross-functional teams to manage communications for organizational announcements, change initiatives, launches, and key programs.
• Create compelling business, people, and culture narratives that bring Cognizant's vision, values, and strategy to life.
• Identify and amplify impactful stories, including employee achievements, innovation, client success stories, and leadership perspectives.
• Support executive communications, thought leadership initiatives, leadership visibility programs, and social media content development, including LinkedIn communications.

What You Must Have to Be Considered

• Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism, Creative Writing, English Language, Communications, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, or related communication functions.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and provide strategic communications counsel within a global, matrixed organization.
• Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, collaboration, project management, and organizational skills.
• Experience communicating effectively with geographically dispersed employee populations.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and independently drive initiatives from concept through execution.

These Will Help You Succeed

• Experience supporting executive thought leadership and leadership visibility initiatives.
• Proficiency with digital communication and social media platforms, including LinkedIn and employee engagement channels.
• Experience identifying, curating, and promoting impactful business and culture stories.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to communications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• HTML knowledge and experience with digital communications tools.
