Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA/Consultant to work on-site at client premises in a 24x7 shift. You will manage large OLTP Oracle databases, perform upgrades and migrations, and ensure data protection with RMAN/Data Guard in a banking/financial services context.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of Oracle experience, BE/BTech or MS in CS, and are comfortable working five days a week on-site at multiple client locations in India.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or MS in CS preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle Database as DBA/Consultant/Data Base Support Engineer.
• On-site at Client Premises in a 24X7 shift, five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle databases in large OLTP environments.
• Perform database upgrades, migrations and performance tuning.
• Handle backup, recovery, and data protection using RMAN/Data Guard.
• Monitor and optimize resource usage, including ASM/storage and network latency.

Required Experience

• Position is expected to work on-site at Client Premises in a 24X7 shift
• Candidate will have 8+ years of experience with Oracle Database with role asDBA/Consultant/Data Base Support Engineer
• Academic Qualifications with BE/BTech and/or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• Resources need to work in office premises all 5 days a week (customer location). No WFH / remote options are there
• 10+ years of enterprise Oracle database experience with 3+ years of preferred hands-on banking/financial services.
• Client Locations (Specific) : Mumbai, Noida, Bangalore, Chennai
