Job summary

Pepper Content is seeking a CRM Copywriter for our FinTech content studio in Bangalore. You will craft sharp, conversion-focused CRM copy across email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, and in-app messages for a leading financial services brand.

You will translate complex financial products into simple, consumer-friendly communications while ensuring brand voice and compliance. This is a full-time, on-site role open to immediate joiners.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in copywriting, CRM copywriting, lifecycle marketing, or content marketing.
• Experience in FinTech, BFSI, banking, lending, payments, or financial services is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of CRM and lifecycle communication across email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, and in-app channels.
• Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to write short, sharp, persuasive, and conversion-focused copy.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication across customer journey including acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, cross-sell, and reactivation.

Pepper Content is looking for a CRM Copywriter to join our dedicated FinTech content studio in Bangalore. In this role, you'll create sharp, engaging, and conversion-focused communication for a leading financial services brand across CRM and lifecycle marketing channels.

We're looking for someone who understands how to communicate financial products in a simple, relevant, and consumer-friendly way, while maintaining brand voice, accuracy, and compliance. You'll work closely with CRM, marketing, design, and client teams to create communication that drives engagement, activation, retention, and conversions.

This is a full-time, on-site role based out of Bangalore and is open only to immediate joiners.

What You'll Own

• Write compelling CRM copy for emailers, SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, in-app messages, and other lifecycle communication channels.
• Develop communication across the customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, cross-sell, and reactivation.
• Create concise, conversion-focused copy for FinTech and financial products, including payments, lending, credit cards, investments, insurance, and other financial services.
• Develop multiple copy variations for A/B testing, personalization, segmentation, and different customer cohorts.
• Translate complex financial products, features, and offers into simple, clear, and engaging consumer communication.
• Work with CRM and marketing teams to understand campaign objectives, audience segments, customer journeys, and performance metrics.
• Adapt messaging based on customer insights, campaign performance, and business objectives.
• Ensure all communication is grammatically accurate, brand-aligned, compliant, and ready for deployment.
• Collaborate with designers and internal teams to ensure copy works effectively across different formats and creative assets.
• Incorporate feedback from internal teams and client stakeholders within defined timelines.

Who You Are

• 2–5 years of experience in copywriting, CRM copywriting, lifecycle marketing, or content marketing.
• Prior experience in FinTech, BFSI, banking, lending, payments, credit cards, insurance, or financial services is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of CRM and lifecycle communication across email, SMS, push, WhatsApp, and in-app channels.
• Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to write short, sharp, persuasive, and conversion-focused copy.
• Comfortable working with customer segments, campaign briefs, CTAs, offers, and customer journeys.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into consumer-friendly communication.
• Strong understanding of brand tone, messaging consistency, and communication hierarchy.
• Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
