Job summary

Dentsu Creative in Mumbai is seeking a skilled copy professional to conceptualise and realise ideas through language across digital, print and social channels, shaping the tone of campaigns.

You will mentor junior writers, ensure quality and consistency, translate insights from strategy, and collaborate closely with the Group Head - Copy to deliver impactful, brand-aligned copy. The role is permanent and full-time, based at The Square Mumbai, Level 8.

The purpose of this role is to conceptualise and realise ideas through a comprehensive use of language and the written word. They have the ability to think in a holistic way about how an idea comes to life through all creative channels of a consumer experience. Develops language and copy in short form and long form to establish the tonality of ideas. They can act as mentor to junior members of the team and encourage learning.

Job Description

Copy Development: Create engaging and impactful copy that aligns with the strategic direction and resonates with target audiences across various media (digital, print, social).

• Insight Translation: Interpret insights and requirements from the strategy team to develop concepts that effectively communicate brand messaging and campaign objectives.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with the Group Head - Copy and other team members to ensure that all copy supports the overall creative vision and strategic goals.
• Independent Thinking: Take ownership of projects, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and creativity, while managing your own workload efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Review and edit your own work and that of junior team members, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency across all outputs.
• Feedback Integration: Respond to feedback from the Group Head - Copy and clients, refining copy to enhance effectiveness and alignment with project goals.
• Trend Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform your writing and keep our campaigns fresh and relevant.
