Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited is seeking an experienced Copilot Studio Technical Lead to drive the design, development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI copilots built on Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Generative AI.

You will lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions across Microsoft Graph, Teams, SharePoint, and Power Automate.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years of experience in enterprise application development, automation, AI solutions, or Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio development and enterprise implementations.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Copilot Studio agents and conversational AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Copilot Studio agents and conversational AI solutions.
• Architect enterprise-grade AI copilots that automate business processes and improve user productivity.
• Design and implement end-to-end Copilot workflows integrated with Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and 365 services.
• Develop intelligent conversational experiences leveraging Generative AI and natural language capabilities.
• Integrate Copilot solutions with enterprise applications using REST APIs, custom connectors, plugins, and Microsoft Graph.
• Configure and manage MCP server integrations and external data connections.
• Design and optimize Power Automate workflows supporting AI-driven business processes.
• Build Power Apps solutions that complement Copilot experiences and automate operational workflows.
• Mentor developers and Power Platform engineers on Copilot Studio, AI development, and platform best practices.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Microsoft Copilot Studio agents and conversational AI solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-powered solutions and platform capabilities.
• Establish architecture standards, development frameworks, and best practices for Copilot implementations.
• Ensure security, governance, scalability, compliance, and performance standards across AI solutions.
• Lead solution design reviews, architecture discussions, and technical governance activities.
• Support user adoption strategies, enablement programs, and business value realization initiatives.
• Drive innovation through the adoption of Generative AI, intelligent automation, and agentic AI capabilities.
• Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, and solution presentations for business and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and Power Platform engineers on Copilot Studio, AI development, and platform best practices.
• Stay updated with Microsoft AI, Copilot, Power Platform, and emerging technology advancements.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 9-15 years of experience in enterprise application development, automation, AI solutions, or Microsoft ecosystem technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio development and enterprise implementations.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Copilot Studio agents and conversational AI solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and Microsoft Graph.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, custom connectors, plugins, and external services.
• Hands-on experience with MCP server configuration and integration management.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLM-powered applications, Prompt Engineering, and AI orchestration.
• Experience designing conversational AI solutions and intelligent agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security, compliance, and administration best practices.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong solution architecture and technical leadership capabilities.
• Experience with Dataverse, Power Platform Center of Excellence, and Microsoft Cloud services.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and related AI technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership and translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile and Scrum environments.
