Job summary

Persistent is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Copilot Agent Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents using Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, and related tools. You will build intelligent, multi-agent solutions and integrations across the Microsoft stack in a production environment.

The role demands 6 to 10 years of software engineering experience, strong C#/.NET or Python skills, and hands-on work with Semantic Kernel, ADK, and MCP.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering Copilot/GenAI agent solutions in production.
• Strong skills with Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, ADK, and MCP.
• Proficient in C#/.NET or Python and API/microservices development.
• Knowledge of Azure services, security, governance, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade AI agents using Copilot, Foundry, and Studio.
• Build multi-agent orchestration solutions and MCP-based tools.
• Create .NET or Python microservices supporting agent workflows.
• Implement secure REST API integrations with OAuth and Azure services.

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Copilot Agent Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents using Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building intelligent agents, multi-agent orchestration solutions, MCP integrations, Azure-based AI applications, and production-grade GenAI solutions for enterprise environments.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Design and develop enterprise-grade AI agents using Microsoft AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and Copilot Studio.
• Build multi-agent orchestration solutions using Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Microsoft 365 Agents SDK.
• Develop MCP-based tools, API plugins, and enterprise integrations.
• Create .NET or Python microservices supporting agent workflows and business processes.

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Copilot or GenAI agent solutions in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Strong programming skills using C#/.NET or Python.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol), Agent-to-Agent integrations, function calling, and OpenAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, AKS, Container Apps, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectors.
• Understanding of Azure OpenAI, RAG architectures, Vector Search, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of Entra ID, RBAC, Governance, Security, and Responsible AI principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
