Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Copilot Agent Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents using Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI technologies. The candidate will build multi-agent orchestration solutions and MCP integrations for enterprise environments.

Experience 6–10 years in software engineering, hands-on production deployments of Copilot/GenAI solutions, and strong skills in C#/.NET or Python are essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Copilot or GenAI agent solutions in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Experience with Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Agent Development Kit (ADK).
• Strong programming skills using C#/.NET or Python.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol), Agent-to-Agent integrations, function calling, and OpenAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Functions, AKS, Container Apps, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, and custom connectors.
• Understanding of Azure OpenAI, RAG architectures, Vector Search, SharePoint, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of Entra ID, RBAC, Governance, Security, and Responsible AI principles.
