Job summary

MAN TRUCK & BUS INDIA PVT. LTD seeks an engineer with 3–4 years in automotive cooling systems to design cooling lines, heat exchangers and related plastic and sheet metal parts, ensuring proper packaging inside the vehicle.

BE/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile and hands-on CATIA V5, PLM tools, GD&T, and MS Office skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support release processes.

Qualification:

BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech: Mechanical / Automobile

Experience:

3 to 4 years

• Domain Knowledge: Experience with Automotive cooling system components.
• Testing Knowledge: Understanding of cooling system and component-level testing.
• Design Knowledge: Expertise in plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.
• CATIA V5 Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D design.
• PLM Tools: Familiarity with PLM tools like Windchill / Enovia
• GD&T Knowledge: Understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• MS Tools: Proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Release Process and Change Management: Knowledge of these processes.
• Fundamentals and Analytical Skills: Strong foundational and analytical abilities.
• Design: Cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, plastic and sheet metal components, cooling modules, fan shroud assembly.
• Packaging and Concept Study: Ensuring components fit and function within the vehicle.
• Coordination: Working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Battery Electric Vehicles: Knowledge of components, integration, layouts, and installation.
