Job summary

Zoho is seeking a skilled Cook to join our hospitality team in Kuwait. The role involves preparing and cooking a range of dishes while upholding quality, hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will work as part of a team to ensure timely service, maintain cleanliness, and follow the Chef’s instructions during busy shifts. A 6 months to 1 year track record and a hospitality-related certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment.
• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred/required.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
• Ensure proper taste, quality, portion size, and presentation of food.
• Perform food preparation activities including cutting, chopping, marinating, seasoning, and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment.

• Assist with inventory management, proper storage, and stock rotation of food ingredients.
