Job summary

Aarvi Encon in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Proposal Engineer to review RFQs, tenders, specifications, BOQ, and client requirements, and prepare technical and commercial proposals.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Costing, Projects, and Sales teams to ensure accurate BOQ, material quantities, and cost estimates, and to support tender submissions throughout the bid lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, tenders, specifications, drawings, BOQ, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Costing, Projects, and Sales teams.
• Prepare BOQ, material quantities, equipment lists, and cost estimates.
• Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparison statements.
• Ensure proposals comply with client specifications, scope, and contractual requirements.
• Identify deviations, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial risks.
• Support preparation of tender documentation and bid submissions.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and resolve technical queries.
• Prepare clarifications and responses to client/vendor queries.
• Maintain proposal records, costing sheets, and tender databases.
• Support negotiations and handover of awarded projects to the execution team.
