Job summary

Vertiv in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Lean Excellence Lead to partner with the VOS manager and deploy capability frameworks that drive site certification. You will facilitate CI projects, kaizen events, and structured problem-solving to deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and experience.

You will coach leaders on Lean tools, standard work, visual management, and process design, while driving cross-functional collaboration and governance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma - Mechanical or Industrial Engg required
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience (required) will be an additional advantage
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience for BE or 8-10 Years for Diploma Candidate leading Lean tools or operational excellence efforts in global, matrixed organizations.

• Partner with the local VOS manager to develop and deploy VOS capability framework and site certification.
• Facilitate CI projects, workshops, kaizen events, and structured problem-solving to improve cost, quality, delivery and experience.
• Drive 5S & Kaizen program across the plant.
• Coach function and business leaders on Lean tools, maturity assessments, standard work, visual management and process design.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration through swimlane mapping, value stream diagnostics and best-practice sharing.
• Develop and support governance mechanisms, including VOS maturity tracking, KPI alignment, and leadership routines.
• Model ownership and empowerment to sustain Lean progress over time.
• Support deployment across cultural and tactical dimensions—from team coaching to enterprise change.
• Shop floor engagement on sustainability of operating system.
