Job summary

Tenneco in Patiala is seeking a CI Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives in the piston manufacturing area. The role focuses on analyzing processes, implementing efficiency projects, and promoting Lean practices across cross-functional teams.

Candidate should have an engineering degree with 5–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably auto, and must have basic finance knowledge to assess improvement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering.
• 5–7 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in Automobile Industry.
• Basic knowledge of finance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects at Patiala Pistons.
• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Implement new operational efficiency initiatives and manage Wave projects.
• Drive the development and implementation of Lean methodology.
• Collaborate with teams to understand processes and promote adoption of improvement measures.
• Monitor and report on the status of improvement projects daily/weekly/monthly.
• Provide training and guidance to team members about process improvement and Lean methodologies.
• Measure and analyze improvement project outcomes in Wave.
• Coordinate for P3 Implementation in the Piston Plant.

• Drive the development and implementation of Lean methodology.
• Collaborate with teams and individuals to understand processes, and promote adoption of improvement measures.
• Monitor and report on the status of improvement projects, Wave Projects Monitoring on Daily / Weekly and Monthly basis.
• Provide training and guidance to team members about process improvement and Lean methodologies.
• Measure and analyze improvement project outcomes in Wave.
• Coordinate for P3 Implementation, in the Piston Plant.
