Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore specializes in mechanical assembly and process optimisation. The position leads process improvements across product lines, driving efficiency and quality in high-volume production.

The incumbent will manage a large team of 100+ operators, implement new assembly concepts, and pursue safety, productivity and delivery improvements within an OEM environment. BE in mechanical engineering required.

• Experience in OEM assembly and testing.

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes and lead productivity improvement initiatives.
• Achieve and maintain on-time manufacturing targets.
• Drive cost reduction and reduce process time.
• Execute aesthetic improvements in products.
• Implement new Gen assembly concepts.
• Apply poke-yoke for CTQ parameters.
• Introduce AMR and Kit concepts.
• Conduct regular process walks.
• Oversee end-of-line testing across product groups.
