Job summary

3Ding in Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai is seeking a Content Creator to shoot and edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and longer YouTube pieces. This hands-on role sits on our production floor, with opportunities to own creative work and a portfolio that showcases your storytelling through video.

You’ll learn the technology and materials, and join a small team with fast iteration, having access to the full workshop to film and experiment.

Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years creating video content; freshers welcome if portfolio strong.
• A real portfolio: showreel, Instagram page, YouTube channel or own work online.
• Strong editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut.
• The ability to shoot solo, with a camera and basic lighting, without waiting for a crew.
• An instinct for what makes short form work, not just the skill to cut it.
• Good written English for titles, hooks and captions.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit short form video for Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts, which is the core of this job.
• Film print time lapses, unboxings, machine demos and behind the scenes on our production floor.
• Produce longer YouTube pieces such as product reviews, printer comparisons & tutorials.
• Write the hooks, titles and captions that go with your own videos.
• Run a simple content calendar so we publish consistently instead of in bursts.
• Read the numbers after publishing and let them decide what you shoot next.

Content Creator (Video and Social Media)

Do you shoot and edit your own videos? Would you rather film machines building real parts than another talking head in an office? Join 3Ding, India's leading 3D Printing company, and run the camera for a workshop where something new gets made every day.

Since 2013 we have shipped over 30,000 3D printers, produced more than 10 million parts and trained over 100,000 people, for customers including ISRO, DRDO, the IITs, Tata and Bosch. Printers run all day, prototypes come off the bed, and most of it never gets filmed. That is the gap you are here to close.

What You'll Do

• Shoot and edit short form video for Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts, which is the core of this job
  
• Film print time lapses, unboxings, machine demos and behind the scenes on our production floor
  
• Produce longer YouTube pieces such as product reviews, printer comparisons & tutorials
  
• Write the hooks, titles and captions that go with your own videos
  
• Run a simple content calendar so we publish consistently instead of in bursts
  
• Read the numbers after publishing and let them decide what you shoot next
  

You will also shoot product photography for our website and marketplace listings from time to time. The work happens at our Ambattur Industrial Estate facility, where the printers and the parts are, so this is an in person role and not a remote one.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years creating video content. Freshers are welcome if the portfolio is strong, because we care more about what you have made than where you have worked
  
• A real portfolio: a showreel, an Instagram page, a YouTube channel or your own work online
  
• Strong editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut
  
• The ability to shoot solo, with a camera and basic lighting, without waiting for a crew

Nice to have: thumbnail and graphic design in Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva, motion graphics, CAD or 3D modelling, and a channel of your own.
