Video Editing and Content Production Intern — Biotastic Health Systems (On Site) 3–6 Months Chetpet, Chennai
We make the recovery gear athletes, hotels, and HNIs in India actually want — ice baths, infrared saunas, red light therapy. Now we need someone behind the camera (and in front of it, and under it, and rigging the lights for it) to make our content look as good as the product does. This isn't a "we'll send you b-roll, please edit" gig. You'll be in the room when the founder is doing a product walkthrough, on set when a podcast is rolling, and on your phone shooting a reel five minutes after that. If that sounds like your kind of week, keep reading.
Who you are
- You’re Gen Z and terminally online in a useful way — you know what trends are about to peak, not last month's.
- You use AI like it’s a limb. ChatGPT, Claude, etc. — whatever the stack is, you’re already using it to cut edit time in half, draft hooks, clean audio, generate b-roll, write captions. If you’re still doing things the 2022 way, this isn’t the role.
- You’ve shot stuff. Reels, short films, college fest videos, your friend’s brand launch — show us.
- You set up a tripod and frame a shot without being told.
- You have opinions about lighting, sound, and pacing. You’re also chill about being overruled when it doesn’t matter.
- You’re available when shoots are happening. Shoots get scheduled when they get scheduled. If you’re juggling college, another internship, or a side hustle that pulls you away, this won’t work.
- You move fast. You ship. You don’t disappear for three days on a 30-second edit.
Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit product installation videos, product operation videos (how the gear actually works, end-to-end), and founder walkthroughs — clean, premium, sharp.
- Run product shoots — hero shots, lifestyle, catalogue, the works. Our products are expensive and look it; the content has to match.
- Run point on podcast shoots — multi-cam setup, audio, lighting, the works.
- Make Instagram reels that don’t look like every other wellness brand’s reels.
- Shoot BTS content — every shoot, every install, every podcast. The unpolished, in-the-moment stuff that actually drives engagement on social. You’re rolling even when nobody’s told you to.
- Set up everything before the shoot — cameras, mics, lights, backdrops. And pack it all down after.
- Pitch ideas. If you’ve got a take on how a clip should be cut, or a hook that’ll hit harder, say it.
- Help with whatever the content team needs that day — photo grabs, asset organisation, going on a chai run if it unblocks the shoot.
Why this is actually worth your time
- You get to build a portfolio across three formats that matter — long‑form, podcast, short‑form vertical — at a brand that has real budget for production.
- You’ll work directly with the founders. No five‑layer approval chain.
- Premium recovery gear in the studio. Use it when you’re not shooting.
