Job summary

Computer Community is seeking a content manager to plan, script and oversee a tech channel. You will liaise with the founder, plan shoots with the build team, and guide the editor to deliver 2 long-form videos and 10–12 reels monthly.

You will write Tanglish scripts, stay on schedule, and manage thumbnails, captions and posting. Prior experience with YouTube and video tools is required.

Computer Community (CC Electronics OPC Pvt Ltd) is a custom PC building, retail and service company and an NVIDIA Authorised System Integrator, located at Nungambakkam, Chennai.

THE ROLE

We're looking for someone to run our content from idea to upload. You'll plan the calendar, write the scripts, organise shoots and manage the edit pipeline, while our in-house videographer-editor handles the camera and the editing. You'll work directly with the founder, who is the face of the channel. The target is 2 long-form YouTube videos and 10-12 Reels/Shorts every month, on schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plan the monthly content calendar (2 long-form videos plus 10-12 reels), locked before the month starts
• Research ideas from new hardware launches, tech trends, search demand and competitor channels
• Write scripts in Tanglish for the founder, covering hooks, structure and on-screen text, simple enough to deliver as written
• Plan and coordinate shoots: shot lists, props, schedules, and working with the build team to capture customer PC reveals
• Brief the editor, manage edit timelines and give clear, timely feedback, and guide an editing intern as the team grows
• Own titles, thumbnail concepts, descriptions, captions and the posting schedule
• Run Instagram and YouTube day to day: posting, replying to comments, and passing sales enquiries from DMs to the sales team
• Plan content for offers, product launches and company events
• Track results every month (views, retention, follower growth, enquiries from content) and report to the founder

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1-5 years in content or social media, at a tech YouTube channel, creator team, D2C brand or agency
• Fluent in Tamil and English, and able to write natural Tanglish scripts
• Real interest in PC hardware, gaming or tech. You don't need to build PCs, but you should want to learn what's inside them.
• Experience planning shoots and coordinating with a videographer or editor, not just writing posts
• Comfortable with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite and Canva
• Organised enough to hit deadlines without being chased

GOOD TO HAVE

• Enough editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut) to give an editor precise feedback
• Working knowledge of YouTube analytics: CTR, average view duration, retention graphs
• Experience with AI video and image tools
• A portfolio of videos or reels you scripted

DETAILS

• Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai. Full-time, work from office.
• Salary: Rs 15,000-30,000 per month based on experience, plus performance bonus, if you are working in a similar tech platform and have all that we need, we would definitely consider pushing upto 2x of the budget.
• Hiring process: application, short call, paid assignment (1 long-form script and 5 reel ideas for our channel), then a final interview with the founder.
