Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in BFSI consulting, consulting sales, business development or solution sales.
• Strong experience selling consulting, transformation or technology-led services to banks.
• Established relationships with senior banking stakeholders, CXO/CIO leadership.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue/bookings targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive consulting sales and business development across banks and financial institutions.
• Build and manage relationships with CXO and senior decision-makers across target banking accounts.
• Identify new consulting and transformation opportunities within existing and new clients.
• Understand client business challenges and translate them into relevant consulting propositions.
• Lead the complete sales cycle from client engagement to closure.
• Build a strong pipeline and own revenue/bookings targets.
• Collaborate with product, solution and delivery teams to shape propositions.
• Lead strategic pitches, RFP responses, proposals and commercial discussions.
• Develop account strategies to deepen relationships with banking clients.
• Increase market presence through CXO forums, events, partnerships, and thought leadership.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Consulting & Sales leader with deep experience in the Banking & Financial Services industry.

The role will focus on engaging senior banking leaders, understanding their business priorities, identifying transformation opportunities, shaping consulting propositions and converting these opportunities into revenue.

The ideal candidate should combine banking domain expertise, consulting experience, CXO relationships and a strong track record in consultative/solution sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive consulting sales and business development across banks and financial institutions.
• Build and manage relationships with CXO and senior decision-makers across target banking accounts.
• Identify new consulting and transformation opportunities within existing and new clients.
• Understand client business challenges and translate them into relevant consulting propositions.
• Lead the complete sales cycle from client engagement, opportunity identification and solution shaping to proposal, negotiation and closure.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline and take ownership of revenue/bookings targets.
• Work closely with internal product, solution and delivery teams to develop compelling client propositions.
• Lead strategic pitches, RFP responses, proposals and commercial discussions.
• Develop account strategies to deepen relationships and expand business with key banking clients.
• Build market presence through CXO forums, industry events, partnerships and thought leadership.
• Bring strong understanding of banking transformation trends including digital banking, payments, transaction banking, lending, data and AI.

Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in BFSI consulting, consulting sales, business development or solution sales.
• Strong experience selling consulting, transformation or technology-led services to banks.
• Demonstrated track record of personally originating, shaping and closing large opportunities.
• Experience carrying and achieving a revenue/bookings target.
• Strong understanding of Retail Banking and/or Corporate & Transaction Banking.
• Established relationships with senior banking stakeholders, particularly CXO/CIO/business leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in proposals, pricing, negotiations and deal closure.
• Ability to engage clients at a strategic or business level, rather than only through product or technology discussions.
