Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru is seeking a Network Security Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise web proxy, VPN and firewall infrastructure. You will document chronic issues, ramp up proxy initiatives, and mentor team members while ensuring robust security controls across the network.

The role requires hands-on installation, configuration and troubleshooting of web proxies, CheckPoint and SkyHigh technologies, and collaboration with audits and security teams to

Qualifications

• Proficient and thorough knowledge in installation, configuration and troubleshooting on web proxies.
• Experience with VPN in enterprise space and firewall orchestration tools.
• Expert knowledge of firewalls and SkyHigh web proxy is mandatory.
• Experience with CheckPoint/web proxies in large enterprise networks.
• Experience supporting large enterprise network infrastructure with 5000+ devices.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in outage calls and drive root cause and permanent resolution.
• Manage changes, problems, requests and DR exercises.
