Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre is seeking a Software Engineer with 7–10 years of hands-on Java full-stack experience to deliver features for our Product line. You will lead in code design, collaborate with senior developers, and drive end-to-end implementation, testing, and production support in an Agile setting.

You will work with technologies like Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, React/Angular, and cloud, containerization, and CI/CD tools as part of a global team.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years hands-on experience working on Java Full stack technologies
• Lead the Dev team in terms of code designs and technical solutions
• Proficiency in core java, libraries and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot)
• Front-end development expertise (React, Angular), familiarity with backend architecture, databases, microservices
• Strong experience in designing and building scalable backend systems and reliable APIs
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SG tools
• CI/CD/DevOps experience and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Generic Skills : Requirement analysis, Should understand user stories Development Develop and write Unit Test with the supervision of Senior Developer. Follow coding standards, Follow clean coding and craftmanship practices, Should know how adopt tools in his projects, Full Stack Development Skills, Developer Understands at least one backend, front end technologies to work on. Profile required

• Core skills:
• Should have 7 to 10 years of hands on experience working on Java Full stack technologies
• Should come up with ideas and proposals on tech solutions and drive these plans end to end
• Being self-driven in terms of leading the Dev team in terms of code designs and technical solutions
• Proficiency in core java, knowledge of libraries and frameworks (sprint, hibernate, sprintboot),
• Core speciality in front-end development (react, angular, etc.), familarity of backend architecture, database, microservices and UI design patterns
• Strong experience in designing and building scalable backend systems and reliable API's,
• Working knowledge on performing software upgrades - JDK, Tomcat
• Database knowledge (SQL, bigdata etc.),
• Understanding of cloud platforms (azure, aws and SG tools),
• Knowledge of containerizeration and docker platforms like kubernetes, CI/CD/devops experience
• Knowledge of middleware principles (RabbitMQ) and asynchronous communication
• Knowledge of some core development tools used within the company: Kibana, Maven, Jenkins, Git/SVN; Sonar and DeployIT (nice to have)
• Perform IUT and E2E testing and be able to support Production
• Conversant in Agile methodologies

• Enthusiastic to drive ideas and solutions through the team
• Motivate the team and help resolve the challenges faced by team in terms of work deliveries
• Good problem solving skills,
• Proficient in communicating and accountability of tasks
