Responsibilities
- Expert in Datacenter Network with experience on Cisco ACI.
- Deploy and troubleshoot Cisco ACI technologies without supervision.
- Work on heterogeneous networks, managing various technologies.
- Train junior team members.
- Proficient in DC deployment with VRF, MPLS, VXLAN, Cisco Nexus and routing protocols.
- Expert on BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
- Use production tools such as Splunk, Netflow, and debugging network logs.
- Review network standards and recommend new hardware for datacenter networking.
- Plan, design, and document ACI architecture; deploy automated templates (zero‑touch provisioning).
- Configure security zones and VRFs to control traffic on ACI.
- Develop, implement, and deploy ACI, NDO, NDI, Multipod and VXLAN.
- Provide support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Create and follow ACI implementation plans.
- Participate in next‑generation technical project delivery.
- Work with cross‑functional teams for solution development, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as single technical point of contact during escalation management.
- Implement practices to make devices and operations more efficient.
- Perform hands‑on tests to validate customer proof‑of‑concept setups, network designs, and deployments.
- Overall responsibility for expert‑level technical support (incident, problem, critical changes).
- Good to moderate knowledge of IP networking (CCNA/CCNP), routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), and switching (VLAN, trunking, Dot1x, STP).
- Experience planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
- Good communication skills.
- Lead outage calls.
- Own and drive root cause and permanent resolution.
- Perform moderate network changes.
- Debug production issues.
- Knowledge of scripting with Python or Ansible.
- Lead production issues and manage issues with senior stakeholders.
Day to day work
- Review the existing process and update it for greater autonomy.
- Propose new processes and create new documentations.
- Define improvement plans to reduce alarms and escalations.
- Coordinate with the Paris NRE team for approvals or act autonomously on incident resolution.
- Provide improvement plans to reduce tickets escalated to Paris team.
