Job summary

INA HR CONSULTING seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead industrial/infrastructural projects from Vadodara, with travel across India and nearby regions.

You will manage design translation, vendor selection and tendering, budgeting and cashflows, risk mitigation, safety standards, and timely delivery with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requires 18+ years in construction management, experience on 10–25 million USD projects, and readiness to relocate as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of experience in construction management in industrial or infrastructural projects.
• Experience handling medium to large industrial projects (US$10–25 million).
• Base location Vadodara with travel across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. relocation possible.

Responsibilities

• Closely working with BUSINESS to understand Real Estate requirements and defining project scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Managing the design process and translating design intent for factory or office plans into architectural/engineering designs; appointing architects and engineering consultants.
• Vendor evaluation, coordinating tendering and bid management, and onboarding selected vendors per company processes.
• Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, cashflows and other financial estimates for CAPEX budgets and project-specific needs.
• Directing a multi-disciplinary team to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion with high safety standards.
• Managing property leases and related approval documents for leased properties, renewals or closeouts.

Role & responsibilities :

• Closely working with BUSINESS To understand the Real Estate requirements, defining the scope of potential projects, conducting risk assessment, preparing budgets and timelines required to execute these projects in line with requirements of stakeholders.
• Managing the design process for the project, translating the design intent for the proposed factory or office plans into architectural and engineering designs. Evaluation and appointing architects and detailed engineering consultants for carrying out design activities for project.
• Vendor evaluation specific to the requirements of project, coordinating the tendering roll out and bid management process, preparing techno-commercial evaluations for finalization of the bidder. Onboarding the selected vendor in line with the set company process and guidelines.
• Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, cashflows and other financial estimates for the annual capex budget planning process and also specific to the projects.
• Directing a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing several projects at the same time, and ensure that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard of completion to the satisfaction of stakeholders. Ensuring that high standard on safety for project execution and taking measures to mitigate the project risks.
• Managing the property leases and other related approval documents for the leased properties for timely renewals or lease closeouts.

Preferred candidate profile

• 18+ years of experience in construction management in Industrial or Infrastructural segment.
• Must have handled medium to large Industrial projects, sized from 10m USD to 25m USD in value, including greenfield projects.
• The base location would be Vadodara but the candidate would be expected to travel to different parts of India region including India, Srilanka, Bangladesh and Nepal for project activities. The candidate should be open to relocation in future as per business requirements.
