Job summary

M Moser Associates in Mumbai & Pune is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead workplace interior fit-out projects. You will oversee site activities, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery through close collaboration with design and contracts teams.

The role requires strong experience in commercial interiors, deep knowledge of building codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Construction, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience managing construction sites, preferably in commercial interiors or workplace projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction site activities for workplace interior fit-out projects.
• Coordinate site activities and ensure all disciplines involved in construction are aligned with project requirements.
• Oversee on-site construction works and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Work closely with internal teams including design, contracts, and project management to ensure smooth site execution.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper workmanship and timely completion of work.
• Monitor construction progress and report site updates to the project team.
• Proactively identify and resolve construction-related issues during project execution.
• Liaise with third-party consultants such as architects, engineers, and other specialists involved in the project.
• Attend site coordination meetings and progress meetings with consultants and contractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and site management requirements.
• Manage site documentation, inspections, and support project close-out activities.
