Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your configuration management expertise in a cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and governance of our configuration management database (CMDB), which serves as the single source of truth for our global IS&T operations. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including service owners, application owners, architects, and IS&T Directors, to enhance processes, implement automation, and ensure alignment with Alstom’s global strategy. You’ll also drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of digital transformation within the IS&T organization.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Supporting the positioning and use of the CMDB as the single point of truth
  • Ensuring an end‑to‑end view of the configuration management process and acting as a key point of contact for BAU topics
  • Driving governance and day‑to‑day activities with a wide network of stakeholders
  • Continuously improving the accuracy and completeness of the CMDB and expanding its scope to cover the entire IS&T landscape
  • Advancing the automation of data uploads to the CMDB
  • Communicating configuration management strategies, priorities, and projects to both internal and external partners
  • Maintaining awareness and alignment with the IT leadership team through regular reporting
  • Measuring stakeholder satisfaction and implementing improvement plans
All about you

  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to formalize and present complex issues and concepts in a clear, concise manner
  • Result‑oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Experience managing multi‑partner teams in complex environments
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual, geographically dispersed, and cross‑cultural environments
Things you’ll enjoy
  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long‑term career free from boring daily routines
  • Work with new security standards for rail signalling
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and supportive colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our agile and flexible working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning programs
  • Progress towards leadership or expert roles in IT and configuration management
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
