Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Configuration Engineer in Pune, India. The role focuses on creating and maintaining Order BOMs for orders and managing customer-specific capital equipment systems according to Sales and Engineering input.

The candidate will review NSRs, process CTL and OBC requests, and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve production floor issues. A face-to-face interview is required.

Qualifications

• B.E in Mechanical (preferred) with 4–6 years of experience.
• Face-to-face interview is required.
• Experience in engineering change management and BOM handling.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Order BOMs for assigned orders.
• Manage customer-specific capital equipment systems per Sales/Engineering requirements.
• Review and implement NSRs (Non-Standard Requests).
• Process CTL requests in CRM Portal (Initial Slot CTL, Config CTL, Push/Pull/Drop/TSD).
• Submit OBC requests for SPM and Management Review within 8 weeks of launch.
• Process NSR/PCA workflows via Cennit Connect Portal and complete OBC activity.
• Create/update Order BOMs based on requests.
• Review Engineering Change Orders on sales-order BOMs.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve production-floor issues.

Configuration Engineer

**Experience and Qualifications:**
- B.E in Mechanical preferred.
-Experience-4 to 6years.
-Interview Mode- Face to Face must.

Skills must- Engineering change management, handling complex bill of material, SAP T-Codes.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
- Create and maintain Order BOMs for assigned orders.
- Manage customer-specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering teams, converting materials from Quote into Sale Order.
- Review and implement customer-specific requirements (Non-Standard Requests - NSRs).
- Process CTL (Change Tracking Log) requests in the CRM Portal, including Initial Slot CTL Request, Config CTL Request, and Push/Pull/Drop/TSD (target ship date) CTL Request.
- Submit OBC (Order BOM Change) requests for SPM (System Project Manager) and Management Review when material must be added to the OBOM within 8 weeks of the launch of the affected module.
- Process NSR / PCA (Product Change Analyst) Workflow Requests through the Cennit Connect Portal based on input from NSR PEs, completing OBC Activity prior to implementation and approval of the Workflow.
- Create and update Order BOMs based on requests.
- Review and implement Engineering Change Orders (COs) on sales order-specific Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve issues on the production floor.
