Job summary

RGBSI is seeking a Configuration Engineer in India with a Mechanical engineering background. The role involves creating and maintaining Order BOMs, converting quotes to sales orders, and managing customer-specific capital equipment configurations per Sales and Engineering directives.

You will handle NSRs, CTL requests, and OBC submissions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production floor issues.

• B.E in Mechanical preferred.
• Experience 4 to 6 years.
• Interview Mode - Face to Face must.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Order BOMs for assigned orders.
• Manage customer-specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering teams, converting materials from Quote into Sale Order.
• Review and implement customer-specific requirements (NSRs).
• Process CTL (Change Tracking Log) requests in the CRM Portal, including Initial Slot CTL Request, Config CTL Request, and Push/Pull/Drop/TSD CTL Request.
• Submit OBC (Order BOM Change) requests for SPM and Management Review when material must be added to the OBOM within 8 weeks of the launch of the affected module.
• Process NSR / PCA (Product Change Analyst) Workflow Requests through the Cennit Connect Portal based on input from NSR PEs, completing OBC Activity prior to implementation and approval of the Workflow.
• Create and update Order BOMs based on requests.
• Review and implement Engineering Change Orders (COs) on sales order-specific Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve issues on the production floor.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
