TMS Global in Gurgaon is seeking a Compliance Team Lead to drive the development, maintenance and reporting of Operational Compliance, leading a small team and partnering with regional and global stakeholders to manage risk and ensure policy adherence. The role offers a balanced mix of 3 days remote and 2 days onsite to align with EU operational hours.

Strong governance, risk, and packaging/print experience, plus excellent Excel skills and fluent English, are required to support audits and drive

Qualifications

• Experience in Governance, Compliance or a Risk role ideally within retail or back-office environments.
• Proven track record of leading teams to deliver excellence.
• Experience managing global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience with print management, packaging and display is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Attention to detail and ability to map and improve processes.

• Support Regional and Global Audit requests.
• Ensure backend administrative tasks are processed accurately in line with policies.
• Collaborate with Client Services to resolve escalations and conduct investigations.
• Manage global stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery against requirements.
• Work with Head of Shared Service Centre to identify and implement process efficiencies.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation.

About the Role

As our Compliance Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance and reporting of Operational Compliance. You will play a key role in our established centre of excellence in Gurgaon. In this role you will manage a team of two covering transactional compliance and supporting stakeholder management, ensuring controls are robust, reporting is accurate and operational risks are effectively managed. You will also support Audits, strengthen processes and drive continuous improvements.

This role offers an ideal balance, with 3 days remote and 2 days onsite to align with EU operational hours.

Key responsibilities include:

• Experience of working in Governance, Compliance or a Risk related role ideally within a retail operation, or back-office administration environment.
• A proven track record of managing and leading teams to deliver excellence.
• Demonstrable experience of managing global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Experience of print management, packaging and display would be advantageous.
• You will be technically savvy with competence across the Microsoft Office suite including strong Excel skills.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficient in process mapping and improvement.
