Job summary

DS Smith, via TMS Global, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to own a key client relationship in Mumbai, India. The role focuses on high-quality print and display solutions, driving operational excellence, commercial performance and innovation within the account.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to deliver campaigns, manage budgets, ensure SLA adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management for print/display solutions.
• Strong understanding of print management strategies, planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own key client relationship and drive operational excellence for campaigns, projects and jobs.
• Manage vendor and internal teams to meet service levels and contractual obligations.
• Provide technical and operational support to client stakeholders and ensure data accuracy in reporting.
• Identify cost efficiencies and gainshare opportunities across campaigns.
• Lead proposals with the Client Services Director to enhance TMS offerings.
• Ensure compliance, best practices and timely delivery across all workstreams.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a key client relationship, working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality print and display solutions. You'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, commercial performance and innovation within the account. This permanent position is based onsite with our client in Mumbai, India.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational financial performance for campaigns, projects, and jobs.
• Drive cost efficiencies and identify gainshare opportunities.
• Ensure contractual commercial obligations are met.
• Assign work to Production Support, ensuring compliance and operational management.
• Provide technical and operational support to client stakeholders.
• Partner with vendors to ensure client requirements and service level agreements are consistently achieved.
• Support the implementation of new service lines into assigned accounts.
• Ensure contract compliance, best practices, and service execution.
• Maintain accurate data and reporting to support internal and client business requirements.
• Identify innovation opportunities within assigned contracts.
• Work with the Client Services Director to present compelling proposals to enhance and develop TMS offerings.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• Proven experience and strong technical understanding of print and display categories.
• Previous experience in an account management role.
• Expertise in managing print management strategies, planning, budget, and cost management.
• Experience managing multi-campaign/multi-job projects with multiple service line elements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is essential.
