Job summary

Centex Exports in Ludhiana is seeking a Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to Factories Act, labour laws, and customer standards across the factory.

You will coordinate audits (SEDEX/SMETA, BSCI, SA8000), manage documentation, and work with QA, Production, HR, EHS to close gaps and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Factories Act and labour laws.
• Experience with social compliance systems and audits.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to close gaps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, labour laws and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Manage social compliance covering HR practices, wages & payroll, working hours, employee welfare, training, health & safety and grievance mechanisms.
• Coordinate audits for customers, third parties and certifications, including self-assessments and CAPAs.
• Manage social audit requirements such as SEDEX/SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 and other applicable standards.
• Monitor environmental compliance including waste, chemicals, energy and water use, plus environmental certifications.
• Coordinate technical/product compliance and certifications like GOTS, GRS, OCS, RWS and related standards.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, HR, EHS and Technical teams to close compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, licenses, certificates and audit reports.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and factory inspections and track CAPA closure.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with brand/customer requirements and quality standards.

• Coordinate applicable technical/product compliance and certification requirements, such as GOTS, GRS, OCS, RWS and related standards.
• Work closely with QA, Production, HR, EHS and Technical teams to close compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance documentation, records, licenses, certificates and audit reports.
