Job summary

Responsibilities include optimizing plant capacity, analyzing performance, and ensuring safety compliance. The role covers continuous improvement, project support, and critical decision-making across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse process conditions to improve operational efficiency and energy conservation.
• Ensure optimum plant capacity utilization.
• Critically review and analyse reasons for various plant performance.
• Check critical parameters of the operations and report non-conformance.
• Support in timely and smooth start-up of the plant.
• Troubleshooting support for uninterrupted production.
• Identify and evaluate energy conservation schemes to reduce cost and optimize energy consumption.
• Monitor progress of projects and de-bottleneck critical areas.
• Impart training on various technical subjects.
• Initiating and sustaining best industrial practices.
• Review audit reports and plan for improvement.
• Monitor processes for accident-free operations and compliance with safety requirements as per the Factories Act and environment-related statutory requirements.
• Monitor adherence to safety norms and safe operating procedures.
• Support plant teams to attend emergencies during silent hours.
• Critical decision making during 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Work permit issuance for critical maintenance work during shift hours.
