Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Bharuch is seeking a Shift Manager Process Engineering. The candidate should hold a BE Chemical and bring a minimum of 8 years of experience to lead and optimize plant operations, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement across processes.

The role involves monitoring process conditions, boosting energy efficiency, maximizing capacity utilization, supporting start-ups, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring the process engineering team to sustain

Qualifications

• BE Chemical required for the role.
• Experience in process engineering and plant operations.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the process conditions to improve the operational efficiency and energy conservation to achieve higher productivity
• Ensure optimum plant capacity utilization.
• Critically review and analyse reasons for various Plant performance.
• Check critical parameters of the operations & report non-conformance.
• Support in timely and smooth start-up of the plant.
• Troubleshooting support for uninterrupted production.
• Identify and evaluate the energy conservation schemes to reduce cost optimum Energy Consumption with proper operation of plant.
• Monitor the progress of projects and de-bottlenecking the critical areas.
• Impart training on various technical subjects
• Initiating and sustaining best industrial practices
• Review audit reports and plan for improvement
• Monitor processes for accident free operations/ Maintenance and compliance of all safety requirements as stipulated by the Factories Act & environment related statutory requirements
• Monitor adherence to safety norms & safe operational procedures
• Support plant teams to attend emergencies during silent hours.
• Critical decision making during 2nd and 3d shifts.
• Work permit issuance for critical maintenance work during shift hours
