LKQ India in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Compensation & Benefits Analyst to benchmark and develop salary bands, conduct job evaluations, and prepare compensation proposals for hires and promotions.

The role requires strong data analysis, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to interact credibly across all levels. You will ensure adherence to labor laws, maintain pay data, and support HR projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Human Resource, Compensation and Benefits.
  • Understanding compensation structures, salary surveys and evaluation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Basic understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and HR functions.
  • Ability to multi-task and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidential handling of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Benchmark and analyze compensation data using salary surveys.
  • Develop salary bands, pay grades, and job architectures to ensure fair internal pay equity.
  • Conduct job evaluations and align with internal grading frameworks.
  • Prepare compensation proposals for new hires, internal movements, and promotions.
  • Analyze internal pay equity and support pay structure recommendations.
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Maintain compensation data in HR systems and ensure accuracy.
  • Track compensation trends and provide analytical insights.
  • Support development and documentation of compensation and benefits policies.
  • Prepare compensation reports and analytics for decision-making and audits.
  • Facilitate the appraisal process with supervisors/Department Heads.

Job description

Essential Job Duties:
  • Assist in benchmarking and analyzing compensation data using salary survey.
  • Developing salary bands, pay grades, and job architectures to ensure fair internal pay equity
  • Conduct job evaluations and ensure alignment with internal grading frameworks.
  • Prepare compensation proposals for new hires, internal movements, and promotions.
  • Analyze internal pay equity and support pay structure recommendations.
  • Ensuring all compensation programs strictly comply with local labor laws, pay equity legislation, and tax regulations.
  • Maintain compensation and benefits data in HR systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Track compensation trends, cost impacts, and provide analytical insights.
  • Support development and documentation of compensation and benefits policies
  • Help prepare compensation reports and analytics for decision-making and audit purposes.
  • Facilitate the appraisal process, including reviewing and rating employee performances in collaboration with supervisors/Department Heads
  • Address employee queries regarding Compensation policies and procedures
  • Support HR projects related to compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Requirements:
  • Any Graduate degree with minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Human Resource, Compensation and Benefits
  • Understanding compensation structures, salary surveys and evaluation methodologies
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organization
  • Basic understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and HR functions
  • The ability to multi-task, Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with HR/ Compensation software and systems (e.g., Mercer, Aon, Radford, Naukri)
  • Familiarity with compensation management, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
