As Senior Compensation Analyst, you will support the delivery of the company’s compensation and variable pay programs by carrying out benchmarking activities, maintaining salary ranges and job data, supporting equal pay analysis, and administering annual pay review and sales incentive processes. The role focuses on accurate execution, data integrity, and consistent application of established reward frameworks and guidelines across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
Salary Benchmarking & Pay Data Maintenance
- Participate in external compensation surveys and benchmarking exercises in line with defined instructions.
- Prepare market data files, upload submissions, and extract benchmarking outputs.
- Maintain salary ranges and market data in line with approved structures and methodologies.
Job Grading Support
- Support job grading activities using the company’s job evaluation framework.
- Coordinate incoming role evaluation requests and ensure required documentation is complete.
- Provide timely responses to grading requests.
Equal Pay & Pay Transparency Support
- Support equal pay and pay transparency analysis through structured data extraction, validation, and standard reporting.
- Prepare datasets required for internal reviews and statutory or regulatory reporting.
- Respond to employee freedom of pay information requests.
Annual Pay Review Administration
- Support the delivery of annual pay review cycles through data preparation, calculations, validations, and quality checks.
- Coordinate approved pay changes with Payroll and HRIS teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
- Administer sales incentive and variable pay plans in line with defined plan rules and approval processes.
- Coordinate payment outputs and queries with Finance and Payroll teams.
Process & Automation Support
- Support process documentation and updates as required.
- Assist with process automation and reporting enhancements to reduce manual effort – including the use of machine learning or AI agents to improve compensation and grading activities.
Other
- Respond to routine compensation queries from HR, managers and employees.
- Monitor the Reward inbox/queue and ensure timely responses to standard requests.
- Support ad-hoc reward activities as required.
Functional Competencies (Technical Knowledge / Skills)
- 5 years knowledge of compensation principles including salary benchmarking, salary ranges, job grading, and incentive administration.
- Experience working with structured data sets and standard compensation models.
- Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience supporting annual pay review and variable pay processes.
- Ability to follow defined frameworks, methodologies, and controls consistently.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems and data interfaces.
Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years' experience in compensation, pay administration, or reward operations.
- Experience supporting benchmarking, pay reviews, or incentive processes.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with structured pay data.
