Job description

About Newton School of Technology

Newton School of Technology (NST) is building India's most innovative tech education ecosystem - where academia meets industry to create the next generation of tech builders and leaders. We combine deep-tech learning, real-world projects, and global mentorship with a strong community and partnership network that bridges students, startups, and corporates.

About the Role

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of relationship building, event operations, and community strategy.

You’ll be responsible for building NST's network of Engineering Leaders, HR Leaders and CXOs - getting them to our events, panels, and programs, and then sustaining those relationships so they deepen over time. You'll own the full arc: identifying who matters, reaching them cold, converting them to attendees or speakers, and managing the relationship long after the event ends. Your goal: make NST's industry ecosystem the go-to platform for meaningful connections in tech and innovation.

Key Responsibilities - Senior Stakeholder Outreach & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain a pool of senior industry stakeholders - engineering leaders, CXOs, HR heads - relevant to NST's hiring and ecosystem goals
  • Own outreach end to end: identify the right people, craft the right message, follow through and get the right mix of speakers and attendees
  • Manage post-event relationships with discipline - structured follow-ups, relevant touchpoints, long-term engagement that doesn't go cold
  • Be the primary point of contact for senior external stakeholders across the NST ecosystem
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build and nurture NST's external community - for engineering leaders, HR leaders or CXOs
  • Convert community relationships into qualified meetings through regular touchpoints and engagement
Event Programming & Community
  • Work with leaders on speaker selection, attendee curation, and conversation design for mixers, founder talks, and leadership panels
  • Build partnerships with startups, accelerators, and innovation communities to bring the right people into NST's network
  • Collaborate with internal teams on event execution
Ecosystem Intelligence & Reporting
  • Maintain a live, well-structured database of partners, speakers, and community contacts with engagement history
  • Track what's working - attendance quality, relationship conversion, re-engagement rates - and use it to sharpen future outreach
  • Report monthly on community health, pipeline, and partnership progress
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in Developer Relations, CXO Relations, Partnerships, Community or similar role where you regularly engaged senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to do outreach and engage with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship acumen
  • Strong ownership mindset - proactive, dependable, and impact-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and external stakeholders
  • Comfort with digital tools like Google Workspace, Notion, CRM systems, or event platforms
Who You Are
  • You are a community builder at heart with a knack for identifying the right people to bring together
  • You think strategically about engagement - focusing on who to reach, why they matter, and how to create value
  • You operate with discipline and creativity, taking full ownership of projects start to finish
  • You love working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation meets execution
Why Join NST
  • Be part of a fast-growing team building India's most vibrant tech education ecosystem
  • Own and scale NST's B2B community, partnering directly with founders, startups, and corporates
  • Design and lead high-impact mixers, talks, and ecosystem events that shape industry-academia connections
  • Enjoy steep learning, autonomy, and exposure to decision-makers across India's tech landscape
