Job description

Why NST?

Newton School of Technology is revolutionizing tech education in India—from the ground up. Our mission is to solve graduate unemployability through a learning ecosystem based on real industry projects, mentor‑driven growth, data‑powered student development, and vibrant student communities. If you thrive on energy, agility, and the ambition to impact thousands of future tech leaders, NST is your platform.

About the Role: Associate Community Manager

As Associate Community Manager, you will partner closely with students, faculty, and leadership to execute and scale campus engagement, tracking and owning all student‑led activities, data, and operational projects for our growing community of 300–500+ learners. Your focus: turn ideas into seamless student experiences across clubs, events, competitions, and enrichment programs—fueling both community connection and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Student Clubs and Councils
  • Own operations for all tech and non‑tech student clubs, supporting councils in their initiatives and relentlessly tracking metrics for satisfaction, participation, and impact.
  • Innovate logistical processes so clubs run like clockwork—and students feel empowered.
  • Assist in organizing masterclasses, camps, and mentorship programs.
  • Coordinate industry project logistics, onboarding, and student feedback via data‑driven insights.
  • Manage partnerships to bring in exceptional organizations and thought leaders to campus.
Culture, Events, and Engagement
  • Plan, execute, and continuously improve mini‑events, competitions, hackathons, and signature fests—with a focus on operational excellence and measurable community impact.
  • Lead initiatives that foster student connect and create a sense of belonging at scale.
Infrastructure, Operations, and Data
  • Support campus infrastructure oversight, from sports access systems to resource usage.
  • Track event and engagement budgets and proposals, while maintaining data dashboards for all community metrics.
  • Use digital tools and dashboards for managing student activities, feedback, and community engagement.
  • Highlight, collect, and act on data insights to iterate and optimize every part of the student experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (advantage: Communication, Management, Education, Tech).
  • 1–2 years of experience in project/event ops, student affairs, or community building at scale.
  • Prior leadership in college clubs/fests or student organisations (AIESEC alumni welcome!).
  • Discipline in digital tools: Sheets, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace—and keen to master more.
  • Clear, proactive communication and comfort with data to measure/drive outcomes.
  • New ideas and energy for elevating student culture and outcomes—a doer and connector at heart.

Bonus: You bring creative flair, love building things from scratch, and want to own your projects end-to-end in a young, tech-powered environment.

Growth Path
  • High performers can transition to full Community Manager or Student Experience Lead in as little as 12 months, owning signature programs and larger student portfolios.
What Makes this role Stand Out
  • Be part of a lean, ambitious, and innovative team reshaping tech education at a national scale.
  • Directly influence the campus experience for 300–500+ future tech leaders.
  • Lead cutting‑edge engagement programs, work with outstanding partners, and innovate with data/tech every step of the way.

If owning student engagement, mastering operational discipline, and innovating on outcomes excite you, apply and help build the future of tech education at NST.
