Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The Communication Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing integrated communication initiatives across traditional media, digital media, events and community engagement programmes. The role requires close coordination with external agencies, creative partners, media houses, production teams, event organisers and vendors to ensure timely and impactful communication aligned with the organisation's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication Coordination Coordinate with creative agencies, production houses, advertising agencies, digital marketing partners, media houses, printers, event organisers and other external vendors. Ensure timely execution of communication campaigns from concept through implementation. Monitor project timelines, budgets and deliverables while maintaining quality standards. Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and communication partners.
- Traditional Media Communication Coordinate print and outdoor advertising campaigns including newspaper advertisements, hoardings, posters and other promotional materials. Liaise with television channels and print media for advertising and public relations activities. Coordinate press releases, media interactions and other PR initiatives.
- Digital Media Communication Coordinate communication across digital and social media platforms. Work closely with digital agencies to execute campaigns, monitor content calendars and improve audience engagement. Track campaign performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Event Communication Coordinate communication and promotional activities for exhibitions, CSR initiatives, awareness campaigns, cultural programmes and public engagement events. Support planning and execution of events.
- Community Communication Support awareness programmes focused on: Support coordination of one-on-one communication initiatives and community outreach programmes with field teams and partner organisations.
- Reporting & Documentation Maintain communication calendars, campaign records and project documentation. Prepare campaign reports, vendor performance reports and communication updates for management. Ensure all communication materials comply with organisational branding guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or any other relevant discipline.
