Role Overview

We seek a technology-driven leader to head our Communication & Brand Strategy function.

The ideal candidate will have broking industry experience and the ability to leverage technology and creativity to build deep client engagement, internal and external communication and consistent brand recall - without relying on a traditional marketing budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Evaluate & Align: Assess existing data, operational practices, products and services; map tactical goals and outcomes.
2. 2. Develop & Execute Strategy: Create a comprehensive communication and brand strategy focused on digital-first engagement.
3. 3. Client Communication: Design and implement consistent, technology-driven communication across all client touchpoints to enhance client experience and trust.
4. 4. Brand Recall: Build a strong brand recall through systemic digital collaterals and communications, educational content and engagement campaigns.
5. 5. Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement communications and employer branding content and communications.
6. 6. Content & Collateral: Oversee creation and delivery of high-impact content across platforms, including client engagement, investor education, product information and thought leadership pieces. Craft Client's online narrative via appropriate SEO-driven content / webpages / blogs / videos / tutorials / email / social media and implement operational processes.
7. 7. Technology Integration: Identify and implement digital platforms and tools for communication, automation and performance monitoring using data-driven insights.
8. 8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to ensure communication consistency and strategic alignment.
9. 9. Team & Vendor Management: Identify and manage agencies/vendor partners; build and mentor small team of content creators, designers and communication specialists, as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. 1. Experience: Minimum 6+ years in communication, branding or marketing roles within broking or financial services.
2. 2. Strategic Thinker: Ability to conceptualise and implement strategies without a large marketing budget.
3. 3. Tech-Driven: Proficiency in digital tools, CRM systems, automation platforms and analytics.
4. 4. Creative & Analytical: Strong storytelling skills combined with data-driven decision-making and a system driven approach to execution.
5. 5. Leadership: Capable of defining and owning deliverables and building & mentoring a small, agile team.
6. 6. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Financial Planning or related field.
