Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Commercial Compliance Manager to lead the implementation of the Commercial Compliance Program and strengthen risk-based decision-making across global activities.

The Commercial Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in protecting Cytiva’s reputation and enabling sustainable growth by bringing our Commercial Compliance Program to life. Working closely with business and functional leaders, you will translate compliance expectations into practical, risk-based solutions, strengthen ethical decision-making, and use data, technology and AI to identify emerging risks and drive measurable improvement across our global commercial activities.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Compliance, Commercial and Operations and is part of the Legal and Compliance function. The role will be based on-site in Bangalore, India.

What you will do:

• Channel Partner Compliance Management: Lead the effective implementation of policies and controls for third-party distributors. Partner with business leaders to assess, manage and monitor Channel Partner risk, resolve red flags, and ensure due diligence and approvals are completed in line with company requirements.
• Customer Interactions: Enable compliant and effective customer engagement by implementing relevant policies, advising stakeholders on higher-risk activities, supporting risk-based approvals, and meeting applicable local transparency reporting obligations.
• Auditing and Monitoring: Deliver risk-based auditing and monitoring activities, apply sound judgement and data-led analysis to selected transactions, identify root causes and emerging trends, and recommend proportionate corrective and preventive actions.
• Training and Communications: Create and deliver engaging, practical compliance training and communications for employees and third parties, including train-the-trainer sessions where appropriate, and assess whether learning is translating into changed behaviour.
• Systems, Data and AI Enablement: Support and continuously improve global Legal and Compliance systems, including user support, training and system maintenance. Use analytics, automation and approved AI tools to monitor adoption, identify potential non-compliance, improve workflow efficiency and generate actionable insights, while maintaining appropriate human oversight and protecting confidential information.

Who you are:

• BA/BS degree, or global equivalent, in Law, Finance, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
• Substantial experience designing, implementing or managing compliance, legal, regulatory, audit or risk programs, preferably in healthcare, life sciences or another regulated industry.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with the confidence to influence stakeholders across cultures, functions and levels of seniority.
• Strong data and analytical capability, including building reliable data collection methods, using quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess compliance performance, identifying trends and translating insights into management action.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI and digital tools as part of daily work to improve the quality, speed and consistency of research, analysis, monitoring, communication and process execution, while applying appropriate judgement, validation and data protection controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft 365 suite is also required.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• Experience managing compliance programs in a regulated environment, including oversight of third-party distributors or other Channel Partners.
• Professional proficiency in an additional language relevant to the region, particularly Japanese or Korean.
