Job summary

Cytiva in Pune invites a Project Engineer to drive technical execution of customer projects from kickoff to shipment, ensuring alignment with Cytiva quality standards.

You will partner with Global Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver on time and within budget, using DBS principles. Bachelor's in mechanical/chemical, 3–8 years of related experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment or capital projects.
• Knowledge of skid manufacturing, piping, instrumentation, and welding.
• Experience in P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

• Coordinate engineering deliverables, schedules & inventories
• Support manufacturing, Inspection , FAT, documentation, and compliance activities.

The Project Engineer is responsible for execution of customer projects & standard platform products from order receipt through design, manufacturing, testing, documentation, and shipment. The role serves as the technical focal point for assigned projects and Products works closely with Global Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure projects & products are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Cytiva quality standards. This position is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

• 3 to 8 years of relevant project engineering experience.
• Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment or capital projects.
• Knowledge of skid manufacturing, piping, instrumentation, and welding.
• Experience in P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Knowledge in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
