Job summary

Cytiva, part of Danaher’s life sciences portfolio, is seeking a Product/Project Manager to lead large, complex programs from concept to customer handover at the Pune site. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and service to deliver scope, schedule, cost and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of project management experience, with strong leadership, communication and ERP capabilities (Oracle/SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in life sciences, biopharma, filtration systems, skids, process equipment or capital projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• ERP experience such as Oracle or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects or programs from concept through execution and handover.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality and service.
• Interface with customers, engineering, operations, supply chain and leadership; conduct reviews.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and change controls to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP, safety and DBS continuous improvement practices.
• Oversee FAT and SAT activities and address customer concerns.

The Product/Project Manager is responsible for responsible for leading large and complex projects or programs from concept through execution and customer handover. The role ensures delivery of scope, schedule, quality, cost, and customer requirements while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and service functions. This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is part of the Custom Engineering organization located in Pune and will be an on-site role. What will you do:

• Project Leadership: Lead multiple projects/programs; define scope, objectives, deliverables; develop plans, schedules, budgets and resources; drive execution from initiation to closure.
• Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with customers, engineering, operations, supply chain and leadership; conduct project reviews; manage communications.
• Work with Mechanical, Electrical & Controls, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation and Service teams.
• Schedule & Cost Management: Track milestones, budgets, forecasts and risks to maintain delivery commitments.
• Risk & Change Management: Maintain risk registers, contingency plans and change-control processes.
• Manage FAT and SAT and handle customer complaints.
• Quality, Compliance & EHS: Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP, safety and DBS continuous improvement practices.

Who are you:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
