Recovery Officer (Collections Executive)

Position: Full-time

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Collections Executive to join our team. If you have experience in digital collections or a similar role and possess excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!

• As a Collections Executive, you will be responsible for managing the digital collection efforts for a portfolio of customers who have not cleared their loans.
  
• You will be required to engage with customers through multiple communication channels (phone, email, SMS, etc.) to resolve overdue payments, negotiate repayment plans, and maintain customer relationships while adhering to company policies and regulations.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate communication with customers who have overdue loans via phone, email, SMS, and other digital channels to remind them of their outstanding balances.
  
• Actively follow up on overdue payments, negotiate and offer solutions such as repayment plans, settlements, or restructuring where applicable.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all communication with customers and update loan status in the system.
  
• Provide a professional and empathetic approach while dealing with customers to ensure a positive experience and uphold the company's reputation.
  
• Adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidelines for collections processes. Ensure all actions are compliant with legal and company standards.
  
• Generate regular reports on collections activities, success rates, and ongoing challenges, and provide feedback for process improvements.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital collections, customer service, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and professional manner.
  
• Familiarity with digital collection tools, CRM systems, and other communication platforms.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  
• Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements related to debt collection is a plus.
