Growcap Creditwise is seeking an experienced Collection Team Lead to lead a team of collection executives, driving timely recovery of dues while upholding customer service standards.

The role requires strong team handling experience in fintech/ NBFC/ banking collections, adherence to RBI guidelines, and collaboration with Operations and Credit Risk to optimize collection strategies and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 36 years of experience in Collections, with at least 1-2 years in a team handling role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of collection executives to achieve collection targets.
• Monitor daily collection performance, productivity, and portfolio health.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to improve recovery rates.
• Track delinquency buckets (DPD) and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
• Handle escalated customer cases and resolve disputes effectively.
• Conduct regular team reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and ethical collection practices.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on collection performance.
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit Risk, and Customer Service teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor team attendance, shrinkage, attrition, and overall productivity.
• Train new team members and identify development opportunities.
• Drive process improvements to enhance collection efficiency and customer experience.
