Rommelag Engineering India is seeking an experienced CNC Turn Mill Operator to handle combined turning and milling in a single setup. You will read drawings, set up tools, and perform precise machining for high-accuracy components.

The ideal candidate has 3–8 years in CNC turning/milling, understands GD&T, and can optimize efficiency while maintaining quality. A Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, with excellent attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turn Mill machines independently.

• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turn Mill Operator capable of independently handling turn-mill operations for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should have good understanding of combined turning and milling operations in a single setup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turn Mill machines independently.
• Perform machine setup, tooling, offset setting, and job changeovers.
• Read engineering drawings and understand GD&T requirements.
• Execute turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and interpolation operations.
• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance and optimize machining efficiency.
• Identify tooling issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain production records and follow quality standards.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and shop floor discipline.
• Follow safety procedures and production targets.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of CNC turning and milling processes.
• Experience in Turn Mill / Mill Turn operations.
• Knowledge of tooling selection, inserts, and machining parameters.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and maintain close tolerances.
• Basic CNC program understanding and editing capability.
• Good troubleshooting skills during production.

Preferred Qualifications
