Job summary

Rommelag Engineering India is seeking an experienced CNC Turn Mill Operator to independently manage turn-mill operations for precision component manufacturing. The candidate should understand combined turning and milling in a single setup environment and read GD&T drawings to ensure tight tolerances.

The role requires exposure to Mazatrol, Fanuc, and Siemens controllers, with responsibilities spanning setup, machining, inspection, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ITI or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in precision engineering or high-accuracy component manufacturing preferred.
• Good understanding of CNC turning and milling processes and GD&T basics.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Turn Mill machines independently.
• Perform machine setup, tooling, offset setting, and job changeovers.
• Read engineering drawings and understand GD&T requirements.
• Execute turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and interpolation operations.
• Conduct in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance and optimize machining efficiency.
• Identify tooling issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain production records and follow quality standards.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and shop floor discipline.

• Basic CNC program understanding and editing capability.
• Good troubleshooting skills during production.

What you bring to the table

Preferred Qualifications
ITI / Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
