Job summary

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, performing in-process inspections, maintaining records, and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet targets.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of CNC turning operations and tooling setups.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines (Lathe) to manufacture precision parts per drawings and specs.
• Perform machine setup, tool setting, and offset adjustments for production runs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and productivity.
• Conduct in-process inspections using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain documentation of production output and machine parameters.
• Identify and report machine issues, tool wear, or quality deviations to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance and cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow safety procedures and company manufacturing standards.
• Work with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets.
