Responsibilities

• Independently handle press dies, injection molds, and HPDC dies.
• Coordinate with teams to prepare machining plans.
• Control die machining hours and minimize delays.
• Analyze non-productive activities on the shop floor.
• Provide feedback to optimize machining hour utilization.
• Resolve customer feedback and modifications promptly.
• Examine quality-related issues in machining.
• Analyze machine accuracy and develop improvements.
• Monitor machine health and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare shop-related reports and check sheets.
• Analyze and reduce machining time.
• Monitor machining efficiency.

Skills

Strong drawing-reading skills and knowledge of fits & tolerances

Knowledge of FANUC control systems

Knowledge of CNC machining operations

Ability to independently handle machining projects

Knowledge of various cutting tools and clamping systems

Knowledge of press dies, die-casting dies, and injection mold manufacturing

Ability to independently prepare die machining process planning sheets

Ability to make independent decisions in CNC machining operations

Knowledge of CAM/CAD software such as UG NX, Powermill, and Tebis

Proficient skill with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Required Experience

• Diploma: 10 – 17 Years
• B.Tech: 2 – 7 Years

Job Responsibilities

• Independently handle press dies, injection molds, and HPDC dies in the CNC machining section.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, CAM, and Fitting teams to prepare machining plans as per the die manufacturing schedule.
• Control die machining hours by monitoring and minimizing project‑related delays.
• Analyze non‑productive activities within the shop floor and implement countermeasures to reduce non‑productive hours.
• Provide feedback to supervisors to optimize machining hour utilization and maintain control over die costs.
• Prioritize and promptly resolve customer feedback and requested modifications.
• Examine all quality‑related issues in the machining process to identify the root cause.
• Analyze machine accuracy results and develop improvement plans in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Prepare and analyze machine utilization reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor machine health and ensure timely preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Prepare and manage shop‑related reports and check sheets.
• Analyze target vs. actual machining hours and work to reduce machining time.
• Monitor and improve machining efficiency.

Technical / Functional Skills
