Job summary

Fixotec Pipe Supports Pvt. Ltd. in Maharashtra is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator to run a 110-ton press brake, set up tooling, and ensure accurate bending according to drawings and production schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of hands-on experience in sheet-metal fabrication, can read engineering drawings, and maintains high standards of quality, safety, and productivity in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Sheet Metal, or related trade preferred.
2-5 years of experience in CNC Press Brake operation and sheet-metal fabrication.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machine parameter setting.
Strong attention to detail, discipline and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Operate and set up a 110-ton CNC Press Brake for sheet-metal bending.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, bending layouts, dimensions and tolerances.
Select punches, dies and tooling based on material type and thickness.
Set machine parameters including bend angle, back gauge, stroke and bending sequence.
Perform first-piece inspection and adjust to achieve required dimensions.
Handle and position sheet-metal components accurately during bending operations.
Ensure consistent production quality and dimensional accuracy.
Use measuring instruments for inspection and report issues to supervision.
Maintain production and inspection records and carry out routine cleaning and maintenance.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with hands-on experience in sheet-metal fabrication and CNC bending operations. The candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up a 110-ton CNC press brake machine, ensuring accurate bending as per approved drawings and production requirements, while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up a 110-ton CNC Press Brake for sheet-metal bending operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, bending layouts, dimensions, and tolerances.
Select appropriate punches, dies, and tooling based on material type and thickness.
Set machine parameters including bend angle, back gauge, stroke, and bending sequence.
Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions.
Handle and position sheet-metal components accurately during bending operations.
Ensure consistent production quality and dimensional accuracy.
Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges for inspection.
Identify and report tooling, machine, and quality-related issues to the Production Supervisor.
Maintain production and inspection records as required.
Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Minimize material wastage and ensure optimum machine utilization.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Sheet Metal, or related trade preferred.
2-5 years of experience in CNC Press Brake operation and sheet-metal fabrication.
Hands-on experience with 110-ton CNC Press Brake or similar machines.
Good knowledge of sheet-metal bending processes and tooling.
