Job summary

ASV Interiors is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our modular furniture division in Pune. The role focuses on operating a 5-axis Biesse CNC machine, reading drawings, and delivering high-precision components on schedule.

The ideal candidate has minimum 2 years hands-on CNC experience, with preference for Biesse machines and 5-axis drilling/grooving. Monday-Saturday, overtime may apply, with a competitive monthly salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on CNC operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5-axis CNC Biesse machine for drilling, grooving, cutting and machining of components.
• Read and interpret CNC programs, drawings and machining requirements.
• Set up machine, tools, drilling units and parameters as per job.
• Perform accurate CNC operations and ensure quality of finished components.
• Check dimensions using measuring instruments and ensure correct tool changes.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine/tooling issues and maintain housekeeping.

CNC Machine Operator- Modular Furniture

Position: CNC Machine Operator
Industry: Modular Furniture & Plywood Works
Experience: Minimum 2 years Mandatory
Location: Shindevadi, Velu, Pune
Salary: 30,000 40,000 per month, depending on experience and skill

Job Responsibilities

• Operate 5-Axis CNC Biesse machine for drilling, grooving, cutting and machining of plywood and furniture components.
• Read and understand CNC programs, drawings and machining requirements.
• Set up the machine, tools, drilling units and required parameters as per job requirements.
• Perform accurate drilling, grooving, cutting and other CNC operations for modular furniture components.
• Check dimensions and quality of finished components using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Ensure correct tool selection, tool changes and machine settings.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine, tooling and machining issues.
• Maintain proper machine housekeeping and follow safety procedures.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine utilization.
• Coordinate with the production and furniture assembly teams to complete jobs as per schedule.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the CNC machine.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines mandatory.
• Experience specifically on Biesse CNC machines will be preferred.
• Experience in 5-Axis CNC drilling and grooving is highly preferred.
• Experience in modular furniture, plywood, MDF and panel processing is preferred.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and CNC machining requirements.
• Good knowledge of CNC tools, drilling patterns, grooving and machine setup.
• Should be responsible, disciplined and quality-conscious.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday: Weekly Off

Overtime: Additional overtime will be provided/paid as applicable for work beyond regular working hours.

Salary

30,000 – 40,000 per month, based on experience, technical skills and ability to independently operate the machine.

Immediate joiners / candidates with relevant Biesse CNC experience will be preferred.
