Responsabilidades

• Operate FANUC-controlled CNC lathes for heavy-duty machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining instructions.
• Perform turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading and related operations.
• Handle heavy components requiring precise machining.
• Select cutting tools, inserts, tool offsets and machining parameters.
• Execute component setting, tool offset adjustments and basic program corrections.
• Inspect machined components with vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish and production quality.
• Follow machine safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.
• Coordinate with CNC programmer, job setter and QC to meet targets.

Salary: ₹18,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator with hands-on experience in FANUC-controlled CNC lathes and heavy-duty machining. The candidate should be capable of machining large and heavy components used in the Oil & Gas, drilling tools and industrial manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate FANUC-controlled CNC lathe machines for heavy-duty machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and machining instructions.
• Perform turning, facing, boring, grooving, threading and other machining operations.
• Handle heavy components and jobs requiring precision machining.
• Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, speeds and feeds.
• Perform component setting, tool offset adjustments and basic program corrections.
• Inspect machined components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and other measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish and production quality.
• Follow machine safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Coordinate with the CNC programmer, job setter and QC team to meet production targets.

Required Skills

• Practical experience operating FANUC CNC controls.
• Experience in heavy-duty turning and machining of large metal components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand machining tolerances.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, tool offsets and machining parameters.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and achieve production targets.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in machining oilfield tools, drilling components, shafts, housings, threaded components or other heavy engineering parts will be an advantage.
